What Does the Spirit say?
“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou has a little strength, and hast kept my word, and has not denied my name” (Revelations 3:8). God has opened a door concerning His name, and no one can shut it. His true name will be revealed to His chosen ones who will keep His Word and will not deny His name.
The Scriptures continue, “Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie” (Revelations 3:9). Different groups such as Sacred Name Movement, Hebrew Roots Movement, and others, do not embrace the customs, traditions, practices of Baal, and have studied the true name; however, they want to restore the original church by restoring the old covenant. In doing this, they crucify our Savior again. They want to restore Israel, but they will never do that. It is not for us to restore anything. This is the time of the Gentiles, and God, not man, will restore Israel. As sinners, people were freed from the chains of sin (read Isaiah 61:1). They then try to follow the law, and in doing so, they put the chains back on! Paul told the Galatians, “Stand fast in the liberty wherewith the Messiah hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage…whosoever of you are justified by the law, ye are fallen from grace” (Galatians 5:1-4).
They get so wrapped up with vowels, vowel points, and pronunciation, attempting to find the true name, and they all think they have the right interpretation. These people come with all names for the Messiah. Keep it simple. Yehoshua and Yehowshua are spelled differently but pronounced the same. In the English language we can pronounce the word nay and neighbor with 'A' sounding the same, but each word spelled differently.
The city of Des Moines, Iowa is pronounced dah Moine, even though there is an E in the spelling. Paul said in 1 Timothy 6: 4-5, “…but doting about questions and strife of words, whereof cometh envy, railings, evil surmisings, perverse disputing of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdrawal thyself.” Many of these Gentile preachers dress and keep the customs like the Jewish leaders. They want to be or feel like they are Jews and some will even say they are Jews.
Others believe that the Father and Son are two separate persons in the Godhead. God was always one, He is presently one, and He will always be one. In John 8:23-24 the Scriptures state, “And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above; ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I [Son] am He [Father], ye shall die in your sins.” Many sincere people who are searching for the truth, come into contact with these groups and their leaders. Beware of these groups, as they are not Jews, but lie, and are of the synagogue of Satan.
The Spirit continues, “Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast, which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God...” (Revelations 3:11-12). The Spirit is very clear as to what is happening and it is being fulfilled in this time. It is so simple; can you see it? He is talking to us about His true name. Let us walk through the door that He has opened, that no one can shut. Praise you YaH!
Conclusion
It is not a question of whether calling Yehoshua the Messiah is wrong; it is the original name and can never be wrong. Most people have erroneously used God and Jesus as names of the Father and the Son. This may be a very hard truth to accept, especially if this was what you were taught as a child. Be open to God and let Him show you His truth.
When the correct name is put into the Scriptures, we will better understand His word. For example, the Messiah said, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them. I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:21-23). Notice how the Messiah mentions they will say, “in thy name” three times, the same number of times that Peter denied the Messiah early on. He is making a specific reference to His name. They never had His correct name and apparently never had His Spirit, otherwise as the Comforter, He would have lived in them and would have known them. This is very simple reasoning!
There is a very interesting article in the Catholic News Service written by Nancy Frazier O’Brien. It states, 'Notwithstanding such a clear norm, in recent years the practice has crept in of pronouncing the God of Israel’s proper name’ the letter said. The Roman Catholics reaslise there are people scattered around the world that are now using the proper name. Which name will you choose? The answer should be very clear! His true name and many other practices were influenced and changed by these false religions. In the early church, Paul the apostle warned that the mystery of iniquity was already at work. The book of 11 Thessalonians 2:7,10 states,"For the mystery of iniquity was laready work:only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way... And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved." We can read in Revelations 17:5 which says, “And upon her head was a name written, Mystery, Babylon the Great, [Roman Catholics] the Mother of Harlots [Protestants] and Abominations of the Earth.” We are not Roman Catholics or any of the Protestants who broke off from her; however, there are some of God’s people that need to come out of these organizations, including some in the apostolic churches. The Scriptures in Revelations 18:4-5 reads, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.”
While studying about His true name and being open, you will realize this is one of Satan’s (father of lies) biggest lies in which he has deceived the people through thousands of years. We all need to be open to what our heavenly Father will reveal unto us in these last days. If you pray, fast, and sincerely seek Him with all your heart, He will show His chosen people the truth.
To understand the true name, the Father needs to open up your eyes and ears to reveal it unto you; man cannot reveal it. As mentioned before, remember what the Messiah told Peter the apostle, “Flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my father which is in heaven” (Matthew 16:17). Isaiah the prophet wrote, “He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee...and thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it” (Isaiah 30:19-21). Once you walk in it, you will be blessed like never before. Of all the hundreds of faiths in the world, this is what was preached by Yehoshua Messiah and His disciples.
In closing, let us read about a time when God’s chosen people will be ready to meet Him at the marriage supper of the Lamb. In Revelations 19:1-9 it reads, “And as I heard a great voice of much people in Heaven, saying, Alleluia…and the Four and twenty elders saying Alleluia…and I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigned. Let us rejoice and give honor to Him; for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready…And he saith unto me write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.”
As the voice of many people in heaven and the voice of a great multitude say HalleluYah, let us join them. The Spirit says to the church, “I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it...” (Revelations 3:8). HalleluYah, Praise you YaH!
